Terms of service
The terms that cover a PixelCapi Pro licence, the free plugin, the free Tracking Checker and this website.
TODO(owner) — this is a structured draft, not reviewed legal text. It must be reviewed by a professional and dated before launch.
Who you are contracting with
TODO(owner) — legal entity, jurisdiction and governing law.
The licence
PixelCapi Pro is sold as an annual subscription. A licence permits activation on a fixed number of sites, and that number is the only thing that differs between tiers: every capability is included at every tier, with no add-ons and no product limits.
If the subscription ends, the plugin continues to function and your tracking keeps running. What ends with the licence is entitlement to plugin updates and alerts.
Payment
Freemius acts as the merchant of record, handles payment and EU VAT, and issues the invoice. TODO(owner: confirm at Phase 7) — link the Freemius terms here.
Refunds
A 14-day money-back guarantee applies, handled by Freemius. The full policy is on the refund policy page.
Acceptable use of the Tracking Checker
The Tracking Checker fetches a public page and reports what it observes. It is read-only: it installs nothing, submits nothing, and changes nothing on the site being checked. It requests the page the way an ordinary visitor's browser would, follows at most three redirects, and reads at most the first 3MB of the response.
It is intended for sites you own or are authorised to audit, and it is rate-limited per visitor so that it stays available. Addresses on private or reserved networks are refused. Reports are kept for 30 days at their shareable link and then deleted; see the privacy policy for exactly what is stored.
What we do not promise
PixelCapi sends conversion events and shows you evidence of what was sent and what the platforms acknowledged. It does not control what an advertising platform does with those events, how it attributes them, or what results your campaigns achieve. No advertising outcome is promised anywhere on this site.
Liability
TODO(owner) — limitation of liability, warranty disclaimer and the consumer-rights carve-outs required in your jurisdiction.
Changes
TODO(owner) — how changes to these terms are notified, and the effective date.
